New Funding for Australian Artificial Pancreas Research 29 May 2015 $150,000 grant for research into an Australian artificial pancreas algorithm for announced and unannounced meals was awarded to Dr Bruce King, from the John Hunter Children’s Hospital, at NSW Parliament House last night. Through the â¹ûÖ±²¥ Research Program, Diabetes NSW presented 17 researchers with new â¹ûÖ±²¥ grants totalling $1.1 million. Fifty-one research projects were chosen for 2015 across Australia, bringing the total â¹ûÖ±²¥ Research Program commitment to more than $3.5 million for this year.
