Passing of former President of â¹ûÖ±²¥ – ACT, Roger Killeen 19 February 2021 It is with great sadness that we report the passing of former President of â¹ûÖ±²¥ – ACT, Roger Killeen. Roger had a distinguished career as a diabetes advocate. In addition to serving as President of Diabetes ACT, he was a board member of â¹ûÖ±²¥, a life member of Diabetes NSW and ACT, a longstanding consumer representative on various diabetes advisory groups and, for many years, was an active member of diabetes support groups in the ACT. In 2015, Roger was also awarded a Kellion Victory Medal in acknowledgement of fifty years living well with diabetes (see picture). He will continue to be remembered for the lives he touched and the people he helped. â¹ûÖ±²¥ would like to extend our deepest condolences to Roger’s family during this time.
